This pleated balloon roman shade has inverted pleats forming tailored poufs.  The balloon is a classical and formal treatment.  Pleats are approximately 12”- 24” apart and rings are sewn vertically approximately every 10”.  The balloon shade retains 30” of fullness when fully lowered. You may add welting on top of the shade for a more finished look. Comes lined but may be unlined.  Blackout lining makes the shade very heavy and stiff.  Includes fabric returns of 1 1/4” on inside mounts and 3 1/2” on outside mounts. Longer returns must be priced by adding returns to the finished width. Height of shade is measured from the top of the pouf to ensure window coverage. To use as a top treatment, order 36” height then adjust and tie off as needed.

This top shirred balloon shade is the same as the Springfield except that we use a 1” shirring tape on the top of the headboard instead of on the face, making for a more relaxed appearance at the top of the shade. You may add welting on top of the shade for a more finished look.
